Constant problem with "Communication not Available" ; Vista 64 bit / Lexmark x9350
Since I bought this Dell with Vista 64bit, I have had problems staying connected to my Lexmark x 9350 all-in-one printer. Whether it was connected wired, usb cable or the current wireless, it would work for a while and then stop working. I have tried MS automated troubleshooting; getting: "Windows Update Configured to never install drivers" and "Driver updates aren't automatically installed when detected by windows update" messages. I checked MS Update and it is set for automatic updates. I have spent many hours on the phone with Lexmark, printer will work for a number of days and then not. Dell tells me software is not covered under warranty. "Help!!"

First look up information on your printer in regards to compatibility with 64-bit Vista . http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Default.aspx?type=Software Windows Vista Compatibility Center Download the Vista 64bit drivers for the printer from the Lexmark website and make sure that you completely uninstall the old drivers and software.
I would suggest you to contact the printer manufacturer for better result .
Access the files on your computer via MY COMPUTER
Under the C: drive, access the WINDOWS folder
Select the SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION folder, followed by the DOWNLOAD folder.
Delete any files within this download folder.
If you are unable to delete these files, open the command prompt (CMD) as the administrator, and type "net stop wuauserv" into the CMD prompt window. Press ENTER. This should allow you to delete the files from step 4.
Once the files are deleted, open and run the CMD as the administrator and type "wuauclt.exe /updatenow". Press ENTER.

I have a table with several rows/records spread over 100 columns. On the 101st column I want to return the number of times similar records (i.e. each and every column's cell being the same are found in the range above. Similar small example of 5 columns:

How to derive the sixth column "RESULT"? Instead of concatenating 100 Cells. A UDF would be more preferable! Thanx in advance!

I agree that the gathering of the data (e.g. concatenation) would be best served as a UDF, but a helper column to store the result will make parsing the results a lot simpler as well. Consider,

Blue Screen error caused by ntoskrnl.exe and hal.dll in Windows 7
Hi I hope someone can help me. I keep having the very annoying Blue screen of death problem which is being caused by ntoskrnl.exe and sometimes hal.dll as well. It has been going on for a few weeks now and it's very annoying. I have reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit twice on two different hard drives and the same thing keeps happening. I have also tried installing windows xp and it still happens so I am back on Windows 7 again, if that makes sense.. Anyway I have run MemTest86 and it had 7 passes and 0 errors so I can't see anything wrong with the memory... The most recent piece of hardware that I have installed was a new motherboard - Asrock H55M-LE which is the same model as the previous one I had. I also did a start up repair which came back and said 'Windows could not automatically repair any problems' (or something along those lines...) I keep having this problem what ever I am doing, browsing the net...playing a game...playing some music... it happens where ever...
Please can someone shed some light on this as I am very confused and don't know what to do next...
